Carlota Clemente

I am associate in the Bird & Bird's Energy & Utilities team department in the Madrid office.

I specialise in Energy & Utilities providing advice on M&A transactions, with a special focus on the Energy & Utilities sector. I also advise on due diligence procedures, both national and multi-jurisdictional transactions, concerning companies active in different sectors and industries, as well as energy renewable projects.

I collaborate with national and international clients, start-ups and global companies and accompany them along the different stages of a transaction, negotiation and drafting of transaction documents, due diligence processes, closing and post-closing. Giving global advice and understanding the client's needs at every step of the transaction is crucial to being able to provide a high quality service for our clients.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked in a boutique law firm, in which I started my specialisation in the Energy sector, as well as other international law firms.
