Artur Stosio

I am a Counsel in the Corporate and M&A team in Warsaw. I specialise in corporate, civil, restructuring and bankruptcy law.

I have been advising clients since 2007 in sectors such as construction, publishing, real estate and pharma. I have experience advising clients on incorporation, reorganisation, mergers and divisions of companies and partnerships, and have worked on numerous company liquidations.

In addition, I prepare structures for transactions and draft various types of transactional documents, including share and asset purchase agreements, investment agreements and shareholders' agreements. I also provide day-to-day corporate support to our clients and I am experienced in conducting legal and corporate due diligence on companies and their assets, including on their corporate governance and commercial agreements.

I also represent our clients in disputes before the common courts and arbitration courts, particularly in corporate litigation, and in cases regarding the responsibilities of Management Board members and the acquirers of companies.

Before joining the team at Bird & Bird, I developed my professional experience at leading law firms in Warsaw and in the legal departments of financial institutions.
