I am an associate in Bird & Bird´s Insurance and Reinsurance department in the Madrid office.

I am passionate about what I do in assisting our clients in resolving highly complex controversies through a detailed and thorough study of the case at hand, a deep knowledge of the law, and a solution driven approach.

As a litigation lawyer, I have extensive experience in handling extrajudicial and judicial claims, mainly in the civil jurisdiction, but also in the criminal and administrative jurisdictions. In this regard, I have a particular interest in (and knowledge of) the filing of appeals before the Supreme Court (cassation appeal and extraordinary procedural infringement appeal).

As for my area of expertise, I cover the defence of insurance and reinsurance companies, as well as their insureds, in a wide range of litigation matters and disputes involving industrial and construction losses, environmental liability, professional liability and D&O. I also represent and advise insurance and reinsurance companies in coverage disputes.

In addition to that, I specialise in product liability claims, with a particular focus on life sciences and healthcare.
