Sally's corporate and dispute resolution expertise in Australia and Singapore provides a unique combination of skills ideally suited to our Asia Pacific practice.
Sally is special counsel in our Corporate group, based in Sydney.
She focuses on corporate regulatory issues, corporate governance and internal shareholder issues, business and share sale transactions, as well as contract advice and negotiation.
With a background in dispute resolution, Sally also advises on disputes involving insolvency, contracts, defamation and corporate law, and has experience in alternative dispute resolution, having acted in mediations and in international arbitrations under various Rules.
Sally practised in Singapore for several years where she acted as Foreign Legal Adviser for one of Singapore’s leading firms and was involved in several international arbitrations and was a lead team member on the IPO of a Real Estate Investment Trust on the SGX. She was subsequently invited to become General Counsel for the manager of the listed Real Estate Investment Trust, at that time a subsidiary of an ASX-listed finance company.
Since returning from Singapore, Sally has maintained her dispute resolution skills whilst enhancing her already well-honed corporate law expertise, including undertaking secondments to one of Australia's largest electronics retailers, in the role of Acting General Counsel.
Sally’s varied experience in practice, in-house and in Asia has given her insight across a broad range of areas of law and commercial practice in the Asia Pacific region.
