I am particularly interested in the adoption of connectivity to invent, improve and transform products, businesses and our cities for example.I previously worked on national programmes for the implementation of IT in the NHS and the adoption of smart metering in Britain and currently support a number of clients with their procurement/development of connected technology solutions.Examples include the establishment of IoT platforms, the adoption of connectivity by a number of industries (such as energy, automotive and aviation) and the development of new business models around the data that is being created as a result of all those newly connected devices and services. Before I joined Bird & Bird in London I qualified as a lawyer in the Netherlands and whilst I no longer practice Dutch law, I continue to regularly work in our Dutch offices and spend a lot of time working with my colleagues internationally to help our clients with their cross-border technology projects.
