I am a junior associate based in our Prague office, and a member of the Firm's Data Protection, Intellectual Property and Commercial Groups.

I joined Bird & Bird right after completing my law degree as I wanted to pursue my legal career in an innovative and technology-oriented law firm. During my studies, I spent over two years in the student-trainee role in another recognised global law firm where I was mainly involved in international trade and commercial matters.

Here at Bird & Bird, I have been advising clients on privacy and data protection issues, including GDPR compliance and processing of personal data on the Internet, as well as IT/IP matters. I strongly believe that protection of privacy should be an inherent part of the development of new technologies, and it is our task, as lawyers, to understand the interplay between privacy and technology. By acquiring this knowledge, we can help our clients to implement the data protection principles into their businesses as efficiently as possible.

In addition to my data protection and intellectual property practice, I have been specializing in employment law and general commercial law. In particular, I have participated in a significant compliance project.

As Bird & Bird is involved in many pro bono initiatives, since joining the firm, I have had the opportunity to dedicate part of my time to the provision of legal advice to pro bono clients. It has helped me to understand the real impact our work may have.
