Together with my colleagues in our international offices across the world, I advise on drafting employment contracts and executive service agreements, as well as termination notices and severance agreements etc. I advise on various modifications of contract terms, eg regarding restrictive covenants and I advise on the establishment of warrant programs, business transfers, redundancies and dismissals of employees. I am a part of our dispute resolution team where I help with the preparations for various court cases, both employment cases, but also within other legal areas.I joined Bird & Bird in August 2014 as a junior associate, working on labour and employment law and qualified as an associate in August 2017. Prior joining Bird & Bird, I worked in the employment law team of Danish Industry, Denmark's largest employers' association, where I advised members of the association in all aspects of employment law, both individual and collective. Furthermore, my experience covers a position at 'Horesta', which is the employers' association for hotels and restaurants.I appreciate the sensitive nature of employment disputes and I try to apply an empathic approach when dealing with these kinds of matters. Thanks to my prior experience in the area of employment law, I appreciate the importance of people skills when practising law.My goal is to provide our clients with commercially useful and effective advice rather than scientific legal discussions. I strive to help our clients solve their legal problems in a straightforward and cost efficient manner.
