Mia specializes in labor- and employment law, both na-tionally and internationally.
Mia is a junior associate in our Danish International Human Resources Group.
Mia joined us in August 2014 and has experience with preparation of employ-ment contracts and director contracts, non-solicitation and non-competition clauses and redundancy settlement agreements among others. Further, she advises on modification of contract terms, warrant programs, business transfers and redundancy and dismissal of employees. Mia is also part of our procedural department and is assisting in the preparation of court cases and meetings in the court.
Mia has previous experience from the largest employers' association in Denmark, Danish Industry, where she was employed in their department for employment law. During her employment, Mia primarily worked with giving legal counselling to the members of the association in all aspect of employment law, i.e. individual employment law as well as collective labor law. In addition, Mia has previously been employed at Horesta, the employers' association for hotels and restaurants.
Mia graduated in June 2014 with a law degree from the University of Copenhagen and has also studied one semester at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, USA.
Furthermore, Mia is a member of AnsættelsesAdvokater - an association of em-ployment law specialists under Danske Advokater (Danish Lawyers).
Mia speaks Danish and English and understands the Scandinavian languages.
