Marina Moorkamp

As an associate in our Commercial Practice Group in Düsseldorf, I focus on advising our German and international clients, in particular on conducting complex litigation proceedings and on commercial contracts.

I am also a member of our national and international Automotive Group and advise clients from the automotive industry (exclusively suppliers) in and out of court on various warranty and liability, as well as on contract law issues.

In addition, I advise clients from the energy sector on contract law issues concerning offshore wind power projects and related legal disputes, including litigation.

In recent years, I have also worked as a visiting lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration and Management of North Rhine-Westphalia.

• Advising various Tier-1 automotive suppliers on warranty claims as well as representation in court in product liability cases.
• Advising a client from the offshore wind power sector on various plant engineering and construction projects and related legal disputes as well as representating the client in court (dispute values up to tens of millions of euros).
• Advising various Tier-1 and Tier-2 automotive suppliers on contractual issues (e.g. advising on and negotiating standard agreements and general terms and conditions (B2B)).
• Advising various Tier-1 and Tier-2 automotive suppliers on supply chain disputes (e.g. termination of supply contracts, claims for compensation due to delivery delays, price negotiations).
• Drafting and revision of standard contracts and standard terms and conditions (B2B) (e.g. terms and conditions of purchasing and sales, contracts and general terms and conditions for purchasing investment goods).
• Representing various Tier-1 automotive suppliers in serial damage cases against leading OEMs (dispute values up to tens/hundreds of millions of euros).
