As a Budapest-based partner at Bird & Bird, I specialise in banking, finance and capital markets transactions, offering considerable experience in M&A, bankruptcy and restructuring, as well as energy projects and general corporate and commercial law.

During three decades of experience, I have represented Hungarian and international banks, as well as borrower companies, in numerous project finance and syndicated lending transactions, mostly in the energy and real estate sectors. I have also advised on regulatory matters in bank sale, purchase and merger transactions, and have provided regulatory advice on standard form legal documentation for investment banks and financial institutions.

Over the years, I have also been involved in a number of public offerings and private share placements, as well as stock exchange listings of shares and bonds. I have advised on the largest equity offerings in Hungary's history as well as on most of the large public bond offerings in Hungary, and on a number of private placements and commercial paper programmes. I also have wide-ranging experience in complex derivative transactions, investment regulatory matters and public disclosure issues, as well as payments regulation.

My track record in corporate and M&A matters includes public company M&A, privatisations, complex corporate restructurings in numerous sectors, and mergers in banking and other industries, as well as advising on some of the largest and most complex M&A and privatisation transactions in Hungary.

I am highly ranked by Chambers Europe in banking & finance, capital markets and M&A, also a 'recognized market leader' by IFLR in capital markets, energy & infrastructure, project development, restructuring & insolvency as well as project finance and further named as a 'leading individual' by Legal 500 in banking, finance and capital markets as well as projects & energy.

I am fluent in English in addition to my native Hungarian.
