About Me
As a senior associate in our Intellectual Property Group in Amsterdam, I specialise in life sciences patent law and life sciences regulatory.
As one of the co-heads of the Dutch Bird & Bird's Life Sciences and Healthcare Group and a member of our international team, I work daily on complex cross-country cases together with our other offices. I have experience in complex patent litigation, with a strong focus on the medical devices industry and pharmaceutical sector. Furthermore, I assist a broad range of life sciences clients with their regulatory matters, including litigation. My regulatory experience also includes advising with regard to all things digital health - from telemedicine to AI.I was ranked as a rising star in the Legal 500 EMEA 2023 and 2024 for Life Sciences and as WIPR Trailblazer 2023.
I am a board member of both the Dutch association Pharma & Law (Vereniging Farma & Recht) and Female Intellectual Property Experts (FIPE). I am a member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
