I am a software, data protection and copyright lawyer. My particular experience is in advising on complex IT projects, as well as collaborative software development, open source programs and the GDPR.

Working as a Counsel in our Technology and Communications Sector Group as well as our Commercial and Privacy and Data Protection Practice Groups, I offer years of expertise in drafting, negotiating and advising on all types of 'classic' IT contracts, software licensing and data protection. I particularly focus on advising on all legal and commercial matters in connection with open source software.

My clients range from leading IT and technology-driven companies such as FLIR Systems to global financial institutions, mid-tier global tech leaders and innovative tech start-ups.

In 2018, I was elected to the council of the Legal Network of the Free Software Foundation Europe. Since 2015 I have been Chair of the Compliance Work Team at the OpenChain project, where we work to define standards for handling open source software in supply chains.

I speak regularly at IT/IP conferences and hold external and in-house seminars on open source license compliance.
