I also understand the IP needs of the local clients and have experience in assisting them with their brand management overseas. As the General Manager of our Beijing IP Agency, I lead a team of 25 in Beijing and work closely with our association law firm Lawjay in all sorts of IP matters, focusing on trademark portfolio management and litigations, and soft IP-related works such as copyright and domain name disputes, customs recordals and seizures. I also advise on IP aspects of commercial transactions such as negotiating and preparing agreements relating to technology transfer, the grant of intellectual property license and distribution rights.I am fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese as well as English, and my expertise with both the Chinese and Western worlds of business enables me to effectively advise clients with local insight.
