International law firm Bird & Bird advised global information management services company, Iron Mountain, on the acquisition of Ireland headquartered ITAD firm, Wisetek.
Iron Mountain, specialises in a range of services including digital transformation, data centres, secure records storage, information management and governance, asset lifecycle management, secure destruction, and art storage and logistics. The company is a global leader in information management and is trusted by more than 240,000 organisations worldwide.
Wisetek, founded in 2007, is renowned for its expertise in IT asset disposition, secure data destruction reuse, and technology manufacturing services.
The Bird & Bird team was led by corporate partners Brendan O’Brien (Dublin) and Pál Szabó (Budapest) with support from their corporate and technology teams.
