Bird & Bird assists Infosys with their new strategic partnership with Danske Bank

Infosys and Danske Bank have agreed on a strategic partnership and the sale of Indian subsidiary Danske IT, comprising approx. 1,400 employees, to Infosys. The goal is to support Danske Banks’ digital and technology transformation. The transaction is subject to customary authority approval, which is expected in H2 2023.

Bird & Bird assisted Infosys in the negotiation for the acquisition of Danske IT in India and a Master Service Agreement for the ongoing service delivery to Danske Bank from Infosys. The Bird & Bird team consisted primarily of partner Jan Ussing Andersen, partner and head of country Casper Moltke-Leth, partner Morten Nissen, associate Alexander Brøchner and counsel Vivek Kailas.

Congratulations to both Infosys and Danske Bank on getting this very complex deal done and thank you for the collaboration to partner Ole Horsfeldt, partner Michael Philip Schmidt, managing counsel Andreas Hertel, attorney Caroline Christensen Glyager and attorney Casper Dybbro Andersen from the Gorrissen Federspiel Team as well as the Khaitan Team.

It was a privilege and a pleasure to support Infosys on this deal. Thank you for the trust!
