Bird & Bird strengthens Tax practice in Hungary

International law firm Bird & Bird strengthens its Tax practice in Budapest with senior associate Mihály Harcos, who joined the firm on 30 May 2022. Mihály previously worked at Deloitte, where he led the tax litigation practice. Prior to that he was director at global tax services and software provider, Ryan.

Mihály is highly regarded for his knowledge in different areas of taxation and has extensive experience in representing clients in their tax matters before the courts. Mihály provides comprehensive assistance in disputes with the tax authorities, from tax audits through administrative appeals to court proceedings. Over the last 15 years, he represented major players in the telecommunication, energy, and real estate sectors, among others. Mihály has been recognised as a highly regarded lawyer by the ITR World Tax.
