Bird & Bird appoints Johannes Eisser as a Corporate partner in its Abu Dhabi office

International law firm Bird & Bird today appoints Johannes Eisser as a partner in its International Corporate Group, based in Abu Dhabi. 

Johannes has extensive experience of advising international and domestic clients (including family-owned businesses) on mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate advisory work (including set-ups with all related regulatory and licensing requirements), corporate restructuring, and commercial and employment issues. He has worked with clients from across a broad range of business sectors, including education, energy, defence, healthcare, manufacturing, telecommunications, and the public sector. 

He joins from Trowers & Hamlins, where he was a partner in the International Corporate department, based in Abu Dhabi. He has lived and worked in the UAE since 2005. 

Bird & Bird's Middle Eastern Corporate team advises on a mix of M&A transactions, take-overs, IPOs and corporate restructuring deals, as well as other general corporate advisory matters, especially corporate structuring and set-up related matters. The team also work closely with the commercial group, assisting on corporate components of franchise deals and employment related matters.
