Who's Who Legal: Patents
Once again Bird & Bird has been singled out as the leading patent firm worldwide by Who's Who Legal, who describe us as " the global leader in patent law". Thirty of our lawyers are recognised, which is significantly more than any other firms in their research; our nearest competitor has only 19 listings.
Our lawyers across Europe and Asia are recognised, and London-based partner Jane Mutimear is also selected as one of just 11 "Thought Leaders" in the whole EMEA region. Thought Leaders are those individuals who received the highest number of nominations from peers, corporate counsel and other market sources this year.
Overall, Who's Who Legal: Patents 2018 singles out 870 patent law specialists from 63 jurisdictions around the world.

In Who's Who Legal Life Sciences: 2018 we are the third most strongly represented firm overall, achieving 17 listings in total across their patent litigation, product liability, regulatory and transactional sub-sections. Furthermore, we are the leading firm in the patent litigation sub-section, with Mark Hilton selected as one of only seven thought leaders for this area in Europe.
