Singapore: Clearbridge Health's Initial Public Offering

Bird & Bird ATMD advised as Singapore counsel to Clearbridge Health, a medtech investor, on the proposed initial public offering of 88 million shares at 28 cents each on the Catalist board of the Singapore Exchange to raise net proceeds of S$21.4 million to build a business focused on precision medical services.

The deal involved collaboration with Bird & Bird's Hong Kong and Sydney offices and its international network on the multi-jurisdictional legal issues, demonstrating the firm's international capabilities and integrated approach through its network in the region.  

The Singapore team advising on the transaction comprises partner Marcus Chow, counsel Jolie Giouw and associates Eugenia Kek and Zong Ning. Bird & Bird Hong Kong's partner Padriag Walsh, managing associate Cindy Ling and associate Beverly Lam advised on the Hong Kong law aspects of the transaction, while its Sydney team comprising partner Lyle Abel, senior associate Kate Renaud and associate Tom Macken provided support on Australian law. Bird & Bird's co-op firms Tay & Partners and AllBright assisted on the Malaysian and Chinese law aspects of the deal respectively.
