Bird & Bird's IP team launches JudgmentDay app

Bird & Bird's IP team has developed JudgmentDay, a first of its kind app designed to provide timely access to selected UK intellectual property judgments.

Personally curated by our IP Knowledge and Development Lawyer, Audrey Horton, and other members of our IP team, the JudgmentDay app will provide fast access to UK judgments on patents, trade marks/passing off, copyright, design, confidential information, jurisdiction/procedure and commercial IP. The app will contain short and long summaries (in the form of key paragraphs extracted from the judgments) which will allow you to keep up to date and quickly assess any commercial implications and considerations for your business.

Key benefits of the JudgmentDay app:

  • Fully customisable: you will be able to subscribe to all or specific categories ranging from patent to trade mark, High Court to IPEC judgments, so that you only receive the information that is key for you.
  • Searchable: quickly find judgments relevant to your current task or meeting in just a few taps.
  • Share with colleagues: with 1 tap the app will prepare an email with a judgment summary and a link to the full judgment that you can share with colleagues or customers.
  • Push notifications: you have the ability to enable push notifications to ensure that you are always informed of newly released judgments based on your preferences.

The app is available on both mobile phones and tablets, and requires iOS 7.1, Android 4.1 and Windows 10 or later.

It is available to download from the Apple App Store, on Google Play and the Microsoft Store.
