On Monday 6 June we attended a meeting organised by the French UPC association, The Union pour la Jurisdiction Unifiée du Brevet (UJUB), which focused on all aspects of the so-called opt-out. As part of this meeting a mock trial was held on the requirements for a valid opt-out from the UPC jurisdiction and Bird & Bird Partner Wouter Pors represented one of the parties.
