Bird & Bird strengthens Data Protection practice in the Netherlands with the appointment of new practice head Quirine Tjeenk Willink

Bird & Bird is delighted to announce the appointment of Quirine Tjeenk Willink, as partner and head of the Privacy & Data Protection practice in The Hague office.

She joins from Allen & Overy where she was senior counsel in the Data Protection team.

Quirine has solid data protection experience in the Netherlands as well as international capabilities. She is recognised for her strategic advice and handling of complex projects. As head of the Privacy & Data Protection practice at Bird & Bird, Quirine will boost the Dutch team.

Her appointment is of great value for the firm. She will assist the team with matters concerning privacy, telecoms and internet law. She has extensive experience in advising clients in the fields of media and telecoms, with a focus on issues related to enforcement, compliance and data breaches.
