European Commission signals violations of the competition rules in the e-commerce sector

On 15 September 2016, as part of her Digital Single Market strategy, the European Commission published a report containing her provisional findings of the e-commerce sector inquiry. This report reveals the e-commerce practices that could lead to a restriction of competition. This article goes into the provisional findings of the Commission. It also briefly discusses the market study conducted by the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets into online video platforms.
