Marie Demetriou KC is widely recognised as a leading advocate in the fields of competition law, EU law, public law and human rights, and is increasingly sought after for her advocacy skills in a broad range of commercial, regulatory and enforcement matters, particularly in the appellate Courts.

Nick Craig - Chief Operating Officer (COO), English Football League

Nick Craig manages a broad array of operational and regulatory issues for the EFL. Nick is an English-qualified solicitor and has worked at the EFL for over 23 years, serving as Director of Legal Affairs before being appointed COO in 2022. Among other things, Nick oversees the development and implementation of the EFL’s Owners and Directors Test, and its related Acquisition of Control Rules.

Prof. Giorgio Monti - Professor of Competition Law, Tilburg University TILT & TILEC Joint Editor,  Common Market Law Review

Georgio Monti is a Professor of Competition Law at Tilburg Law School in the Netherlands and a Research Fellow at the Center for Regulation in Europe (CERRE). He began his career at the University of Leicester and then the London School of Economics (LSE) before taking up the role of Chair in competition law at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. There he helped establish the Florence Competition Program which trains judges and executives. He is also the co-author of European Union Law: Text and Materials, one of the major texts on the subject and is one of the editors of the Common Market Law Review.
