The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) is consulting on new draft guidance pertaining to the decision-making process for imposing penalty notices and calculating fines under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018). The consultation is running for eight weeks from 2 October to 27 November 2023.
