The Swedish government short-time work subsidy Webinar - part 2

The application for the Swedish government short-time work subsidy (Sw. stöd vid korttidsarbete) opened on Tuesday, 7 April. Since then over 24 000 companies have applied for the subsidy and it is evident that the subsidy is vital for employers in order to deal with the consequences of COVID-19.

The Agency for Economic and Regional Growth has provided additional guidance on how to schedule the reduced working hours and how to treat possible sickness absence or annual holidays scheduled during the short-time work. The Swedish government has now also proposed to enhance the subsidy with effect from May.

Please join us for a half-hour Webinar in the afternoon on 22 April for a more in-depth discussion on the practical implementation of short-time work, the required reconciliation procedure and a rundown of frequently asked questions. We will also briefly discuss the Swedish governments' new proposals.
