Onward Indonesia – Seminar Overview
Indonesia is Southeast Asia’s biggest nation in terms of both population and economic size. Indonesia is also among the world’s largest exporters of automobiles, petroleum and palm oil. The recent elections which returned President Jokowi to power have assuaged investor concerns about stability and economic developments.
The recently expanded investment laws will allow foreign investor participation of up to 100% equity interest in 54 business fields and licensing easing on 25 businesses in 8 sectors. As supply chains in the world get disrupted and new patterns emerge, Indonesia is again rising on radars of foreign direct investors.
This seminar will bring together industry experts from Bird & Bird ATMD and NSMP as well as one of the GC's of the Indonesian conglomerate, PT Astra International Tbk. We are furthermore honoured to welcome the Deputy Chairman for Investment Cooperation of the Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Mr Wisnu Wijaya Soedibjo, for a presentation and subsequent dialogue on investments into Indonesia and what to watch out for.
