British-Polish Tech Forum 2022

We warmly invite you to attend the fourth edition of the British-Polish Tech Forum taking place on 7 December 2022 in London. The event will offer fresh insight into the forces shaping the tech markets in Poland and the United Kingdom.

This annual event will explore new opportunities in the context of British-Polish partnerships, from setting up tech hubs in Poland, outsourcing, remote working, R&D, and optimising cross-border tech sales to securing international venture capital.

The event is aimed at companies and organisations of the technology sector and the IT industry from both countries.

It will be a unique opportunity to discuss important factors shaping economic trade and investments between Poland and Great Britain.

Karolina Stawicka and MichaƂ Olszewski will speak during the workshop on 'Cross-border Remote Working' and discuss the following issues:

  • Candidate profile for a Tech/IT company in Poland – what are the expectations?
  • We want to hire talent in Poland. Do we need a local entity? What are the alternatives?
  • How to hire a foreigner in Poland, e.g., a Ukrainian IT expert, Polish Business Harbour?
  • How to sign a contract with a Polish talent. Are handwritten signatures required? Why is this so important?
  • What are UK companies asking about?

Event organisers: the Economic Department of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in London, the London-based Foreign Trade Office PAIH, the British-Polish Chamber of Commerce (BPCC) and the Polish-British organization of the business community PBLink.

Partners: the Ministry of Development and Technology, UK Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and Department for International Trade (DIT). The UK's largest high-tech associations, including techUK, Tech Nation and Coadec, will also be represented.
