European Data Strategy: What does it mean for Finnish enterprises?

The Commission has published an ambitious data strategy aiming to make the EU a leader in a data-driven society. Several proposals have been made including the Digital Service Act and the Digital Markets Act, the Data Governance Act and a proposal on AI regulation.

In this webinar, we will discuss what those proposals are and what they mean for Finnish businesses. We will start in English with two distinguished experts from Bird & Bird who will introduce the topic and give you a comprehensive overview of the developments and evaluate those.

In the second part of the seminar, Jussi Mäkinen (Teknologiateollisuus) will explain how Finnish companies can react and will take a deep dive on the soft infrastructure project. Laura Halenius (Sitra) will explain some ground breaking projects, such as Gaia X and the data rule book. The second part will be held in Finnish (no translation provided).
