The Spanish Supreme Court has clarified the legal framework surrounding the question of whether there is copyright protection attached to traditional bullfighting in Spain. In reaching its decision, the Court ruled that bullfighting failed to satisfy the two cumulative conditions that must be reached in order for the subject matter to be classified as a work.
