Professional equality index in France.

In accordance with the terms of Article D.1142-2-1 of French Decree No. 2019-15 of 8 January 2019, every year on 1 March all companies with at least 50 employees must calculate and publish their professional equality index between men and women.

The index is calculated out of a total of 100 points based on four professional equality indicators:

The gender pay gap by age group and equivalent job category;

The gender pay gap by age group and category of equivalent positions; The gender pay gap in individual pay increases;

The percentage of female employees who received an increase in the year following their return from maternity leave; and

Parity among the top 10 earners.

The company must implement corrective measures within three years if the index falls below 75 points.
