Why did you choose to come to Bird & Bird?

Bird & Bird has an excellent reputation especially in terms of innovation, global reach, diverse culture and work/life balance. It is the perfect place for me to start my legal career.

What have been your first impressions of the working culture here?

I had an idea of what Bird & Bird’s working culture was prior to joining. However, the friendly atmosphere on both a local and global office scale has exceeded my expectations. It is truly a one firm culture and there is significant cooperation between all the offices worldwide.

What area of work would you like to get more involved in?

The Space sector has always fascinated me. It has grown rapidly over the past decade and it is definitely an area I would like to get more involved in.

Who would be your dream dinner party guest?

Michael Jordan.

If you could have any job in the world, what would it be?

Manager of Liverpool FC. I would have brought the English Premier League title back to Merseyside after 30 long years, but unfortunately Jurgen Klopp beat me to the punch.
