Rémy Cassin

I am a French and European patent attorney in the Intellectual Property team, based in Paris. Using my engineering background and experience as a patent attorney, I advise our clients on patent litigation matters as well as portfolio management and prosecution.

I joined Bird & Bird after having worked for more than six years as a French and European Patent Attorney in one of France's leading IP law firm, where I acquired extensive experience in patent drafting and prosecution, validity and FTO analyses and opposition proceedings.

Thanks to an engineering degree from Institut d'Optique Graduate School and a PhD from Université Paris-Saclay, I specialize in physics and optics. However, my general scientific training allows me to tackle a wide variety of technical fields such as telecommunications, semiconductors, medical devices, aerospace and avionics, mechanical engineering.
