Daphnée Raffard

I am an associate in the Banking and Finance team of our Paris office, advising our clients in connection with leveraged and acquisition finance and corporate lending.

I advise a broad range of clients, including lenders (funds and banks), borrowers as well as sponsors on their domestic and international financial transactions and on all types of financing : syndicated loans, corporate finance, acquisition finance (LBO), real estate finance and refinancing.

My practice also covers assistance to creditors and debtors in debt restructurings involving traded and non-traded companies in the context of preventive restructuring procedures and insolvency proceedings.

Our Finance team is constantly interacting with the firm's corporate team, especially when arranging a deal involving a mix of debt and equity instruments.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird in 2022, I did several interships in the banking and finance departments of leading Anglo-Saxon and French law firms and in a French bank, with a focus on acquisition finance and project finance (renewable energy and infrastructure).
