Alli Seppänen

I am a counsel in our Corporate and M&A Group in Helsinki, where I use my expertise to advise clients on M&A transactions internationally and at the Nordic level. Additionally, I advise clients on commercial and corporate law matters.

I advise both private equity and industrial clients on M&A transactions across multiple industry sectors, together with colleagues in Helsinki and other Bird & Bird offices. I have extensive experience in acting for clients internationally and at the Nordic level, and coordinating teams across multiple jurisdictions to ensure an efficient transaction process. I believe that good project management is essential to any transaction, to ensure the best possible solution for the client while ensuring that the clients' timelines and budget are met.

In addition to my Master of Laws degree (University of Helsinki), I hold a M.Sc. (Econ) degree (Aalto University) and a CEMS MIM degree (jointly from University of St. Gallen and Aalto University).

Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I worked for several years at another leading global law firm and another leading Nordic law firm, and at the in-house legal department of a Finland-based leading global industrial company. In addition, I have worked for many years as country manager at a global provider of legal, fund and financial administrative services.
