Louise-Marie Nicolas

I am a Counsel in our Energy & Infrastructure group based in Paris. With a background in public and administrative law, I particularly deal with public contracts (public procurement, concessions, PFI and complex projects) and regulated activities (transport, energy, etc.), as well as cases involving environmental law, public property law and general administrative law.

As such, I advise both French and international clients, in particular economic operators, public authorities, investors and banking institutions, to assist them at all stages of their projects: deal structuring, financing, procurement procedures, negotiations, execution, litigation, etc.

I also have experience in French and European regulations of economic activities (transport, energy and environment law).

I work in the infrastructure, construction and energy sectors, mainly in France and Africa.

Before rejoining Bird & Bird, I worked in Paris in public business law / regulated activities teams of leading international law firms, advising a wide variety of clients on significant projects.
