I am a Junior Associate in Bird & Bird's Tax Group, based in Madrid, where we work to offer the best solution for each of our clients.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked in the internal audit area of a well-known multinational company, followed by a generalist law firm, and finally, in a highly regarded specialist Tax firm, where I specialised in tax litigation. This field involves procedures related to management, verification, audit, collection and sanctioning handled by the Spanish Tax Administration as well as those that are carried out before the Court.

For this reason, alongside the rest of my colleagues who make up the tax group, I put all my knowledge and experience into assisting my clients, in order to assist them in all stages of the process, until the litigation has ended.

In this way, we are able to advise our clients globally. Initially, we work to anticipate and minimise the potential or existing risk by carefully planning the transactions, making them viable and law-abiding. But, in addition, in the event of any conflict, we also provide legal assistance to the taxpayer either before the Tax Authorities or before the Court.
