International law firm Bird & Bird strengthens its Corporate practice in Sweden with the appointment of start-up and venture capital specialist Martin Folke as a partner. Martin will join the firm on the 1st January 2022.
Martin joins Bird & Bird from MAQS and will continue to specialise in equity investments and other venture-related matters in the Swedish market, including commercial and corporate governance matters. Martin primarily advises start-ups and other growth companies on national and cross-border fundraisings and transactions.
His appointment comes as part of the strategic expansion of Bird & Bird’s international and Nordic Corporate team: to work with clients at the forefront of digitalisation and technology across all stages of their growth.
