We are proud to share that Bird & Bird ATMD's IP team has been announced as winner of the Patent Prosecution Firm of the Year – Singapore award at the Managing IP 2020 Asia Awards for the first time.

The Managing IP awards are presented to firms, individuals and companies behind the most innovative and challenging IP work of the past 12 months, as well as those driving the international IP market. The awards are based on interviews, emails and online surveys of IP practitioners and clients.

This is a great achievement for our Patents team, in particular, our prosecution patent attorneys Martin Kwan and Tan Hui Leng.  Alban Kang, who heads the Patents team comments:  "Although we are not the largest practice, this award is reflective of our clients' confidence in the quality and capability of our team."

In addition, we were recently ranked as one of the top Gold-Tier ranked firms in Singapore for Patent Litigation in the IAM Patent 1000 2020 rankings, as well as a top tier firm for Trade Mark Contentious and Trade Mark Prosecution work in Singapore by Asia IP

Lorraine Tay, Head of the IP group in Singapore, comments:

"This is a great first win for the Singapore IP team and we are honored to be named the Patent Prosecution Firm of the Year in Singapore in the Managing IP 2020 Asia Awards. The award highlights and recognises the team's expertise and dedication in providing exceptional work quality to both our local and international clients as well as the team's well established position at the forefront of IP. Our reputation in the market is further underscored by our recent rankings in IAM Patent 1000 and Asia IP. Congratulations to the team! Not only are we grateful to our clients for their support, we look forward to continue to deliver top-tier legal services for their IP matters."
