Bird & Bird today boosts its international Dispute Resolution Group with the appointment of Jalal El Ahdab as partner in Paris.
Jalal is a well-known international arbitration lawyer and joins from Ginestie, Magellan, Paley-Vincent in Paris where he was a partner. His practice covers international business law, notably in the Middle East, Africa and Europe, and more specifically in the field of international litigation and foreign investments. He has strong expertise in managing international disputes and particularly arbitrations regarding shareholders and securities suits, class actions, breach of negotiations and bank guarantees. Jalal's knowledge, experience and connections with the Middle East and Francophone Africa will boost the firm's capabilities in these jurisdictions. Jalal is admitted in Paris, New York and Beirut.
