Hot on the heels of its Gold Trophy win for Patents at the Trophées du Droit ceremony last month, Bird & Bird's French IP team continued their winning streak last night by taking home the award for 'Trade Mark Contentious Firm of the Year' for France at the Managing Intellectual Property Global Awards in London.
Yves Bizollon, head of our French Intellectual Property Group, said: "This award proves how hard the team have worked over the past 12 months and shines a well-deserved light on our trade mark practitioners"
Morag Macdonald, co-head of our International Intellectual Property Group, added: "We're extremely proud of our French IP colleagues for showcasing our talent and success in France, which is a particularly competitive environment. Their win for both awards demonstrates our French capability to advise our clients on all aspects of IP and technology issues which is reflected in the rest of the international IP group across Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific."
The awards follow the publication of MIP magazine's well-established survey of leading patent, trade mark, and copyright firms. As part of the selection process, MIP's researchers sought recommendations of firms that have had an outstanding year in any aspect of IP work.
Our IP Group currently comprises over 350 multi-lingual lawyers spread across 28 key jurisdictions. They provide the full range of IP law service concerned with the creation, protection, exploitation and enforcement of inventions, brands and trade marks, copyright and designs.
