Bird & Bird listed as the leading firm for Technology, Communications and Media law in the annual analysis published by Who's Who Legal

Bird & Bird has been rated as the leading firm globally in Who's Who Legal's annual analysis of Information Technology, Telecommunications and Media lawyers.

Under a new heading "Data" The 2018 edition lists over 750 information technology lawyers and 400 telecommunications and media specialists. The individuals selected are "world leaders in their ability to handle complex transactional issues, including outsourcing matters, or regulatory matters, as well as resolving disputes concerning licensing and content issues, among others."

In total 28 of Bird & Bird's Tech & Comms and Media & Entertainment lawyers were recommended in the 2018 edition. 16 within Information Technology, 13 for Telecoms & Media and a further 10 for Data Privacy, Protection and Security.

In total 13 Bird & Bird jurisdictions featured, once again demonstrating the cross-border strength of our global team.

Alexander Duisberg handles both contentious and non-contentious matters; he is recognised for his depth of industry experience and his knowledge of digital transformations.

Pekka Takki has over a quarter of a century of expertise and is regarded as a trusted adviser on IT matters. One source calls him “the best IT lawyer in Finland”.

Ariane Mole is also recommended as a dynamic lawyer with an impeccable knowledge of her field.

Michelle Chan has more than 17 years’ experience advising prominent clients in Asia on corporate, commercial and regulatory matters relating to the TMT sector.
