Bird & Bird today welcomes Hampus Vallien as a new senior consultant based in Stockholm. This appointment continues the firm's Nordic growth strategy, and further strengthens the Nordic Tech & Comms offering.
Hampus previously worked for Bird & Bird at the turn of the millennium, and joined the mobile operator 3 (previously one of his clients at Bird & Bird) in 2003. Since 2005 he has served as 3's Head of Legal, responsible for commercial law. During his time with the operator, he built and led a team of six corporate lawyers.
After more than a decade as Head of Legal, Hampus and his partner acquired one of Sweden’s largest privately owned art museums, VIDA Museum & Art Gallery. In conjunction with the acquisition, Hampus decided to take a break from business law and after a successful first summer season, he is now appointed as a senior consultant to Bird & Bird’s Tech & Comms team in Stockholm.
