About Me
I work as an associate in the Energy & Utilities practice.
I have been advising clients since 2016, specialising in energy law, environmental law and matters relating to sustainable development. I assist both Polish and international clients with their transition to the green economy. My additional area of expertise covers regulations on decarbonisation and emissions (EU ETS and CBAM systems, various forms of coal taxes).I have supported Polish and international clients in determining the impact of the entry into force of the key initiatives under the Fit for 55 package, in particular the regulation establishing CBAM and the EU ETS reform. I also participated in numerous European Green Deal consulting projects.
I have extensive experience in advising regulated industry clients, as well as experience on infrastructure projects. I have participated in proceedings involving the construction of a plant for a global electromobility leader. I also advised a major industry organisation on formulating its opinions and postulates in the law enactment process. I am experienced in providing regulatory advice.
Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked for one of the "Big Four" companies, where I was a member of a team specialising in advice on the European Green Deal regulations.
