I am an associate in the Privacy and Data Protection Group, based in London. I advise UK and international clients on technology, data protection and privacy issues.

My work spans various privacy and data protection challenges, which includes overseeing and coordinating multi-jurisdictional EU/UK GDPR compliance programs, offering advice on direct marketing and cookie regulations, reviewing data protection considerations within commercial agreements, supporting data subject rights, drafting international data transfers, and providing assistance with data breach responses.

Prior to joining the firm, I spent three years as an associate at a top-tier New Zealand law firm before undertaking a master's degree focused on data protection on a Fulbright scholarship in the United States.

• Drafting and reviewing privacy notices, cookies policies, legitimate interests' assessments and privacy statements.
• Reviewing and advising on the approach for responding to individual rights requests, including data subject access requests, the deadlines for responding and clarifying the scope of the request.
• Providing opinions on the use of cookies and lawful bases for processing data by large technology companies.
• Assisting organisations with handling the various changing to the data protection landscape.
• Negotiating data processing contracts, including where the data processors were located outside of the EU/UK Europe and advising on the use of standard contractual clauses.
• Assisting numerous clients on extensive data protection compliance projects.
