About Me

I am a partner and head in Bird & Bird's Corporate and M&A department in the Madrid office.

I specialise in the life sciences, tech & comms and retail & consumer sectors with a business oriented and hands-on approach.
I advise institutional and industrial clients on complex national and cross-border transactions such as LBOs, MBOs/MBIs/BIMBOs, joint ventures, majority or minority stakeholdings, share deals and asset deals.

I advise venture capital, business angels and other investors, as well as targets and start-ups on financing rounds and investments throughout their lifecycle and also offer particular expertise in transactions with a strong real estate element, as well as in corporate restructuring, from mergers to spin off, and debt restructuring.

With a very hands on and problem solving approach, my main objective is adding value to our clients in their deals and negotiations, offering a profound legal technical knowledge and a wide sector expertise, and always engaging in fairness and empathy in the professional spectrum.

As head of the Corporate and M&A team in our Madrid office, I manage the department and team structure with the main objective of creating an integrated and collaborative team with both my clients and my colleagues. I regularly coordinate, together with our team, multiple departments across different jurisdictions when dealing with cross-border transactions.

Through our One Firm approach, I am able to offer our clients automation software for document production and project management and I bring effectiveness into our due diligences and integrations as a key aspect of our M&A transactions and deals.

In essence, I really enjoy what I do!

I speak fluent Spanish and English.
