Federica Cioni

I am a tax adviser and statutory auditor working in the Italian tax department. I provide assistance to large and medium-sized financial and industrial companies, as well as investment funds, on both domestic and international direct and indirect tax matters.

Over the years, I have developed in-depth knowledge and experience of tax matters concerning ongoing domestic assistance and M&A transactions including private equity deals and corporate reorganisations.

I regularly advise multinational groups operating in the industrial and financial sectors on direct and indirect taxes.

As a member of the Tax team, I give daily support to the other practices of the firm on any tax issues they may deal with.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked for leading Italian and international law and tax firms in Milan where I gained significant experience in corporate taxes and corporate reorganisations.

I speak Italian and English.
