International law firm Bird & Bird advised Adola Oy, the company that electrified the Finnish fibre optics market, on their rebrand into Valoo Oy. The new name and brand image better reflect the company's operations and provide a fruitful basis for growth plans for the coming years, including a wider range of services.
Fast and ecologically sustainable fibre optic connectivity will be part of the basic infrastructure of the digital world. Valoo's mission is to make Finland an information society that meets international standards by bringing fibre-based data transmission to as many Finnish homes as possible.
Bird & Bird acted as Valoo's legal advisor throughout the rebranding process. The project included preliminary research to ensure the usability of the new brand, several trademark applications to protect the new brand and the updating of the official business name. The team was led by partner Henri Kaikkonen and Bird & Bird associates Jennika Sucksdorff and Marla Melin.
Sofia Lehtimäki, Marketing and Communications Director at Valoo, comments: "The Bird & Bird team is a top team. They handled the branding process for us smoothly and professionally.”
Henri Kaikkonen, partner at Bird & Bird comments: "Valoo has revolutionised the Finnish fibre market. It was a great pleasure to help them with their rebranding project.”
