Antonio has a vast knowledge in intellectual property matters.
Antonio is a senior European counsel in the Intellectual Property Group. He is a specialist in patent and trade mark law.
He has conducted work on numerous litigation matters, which include proceedings for patent infringement (involving the mechanical, chemical, electrical and biotechnology fields), trademarks, designs and utility models as well as nullity or recovery actions. He has also participated extensively in proceedings on unfair competition, including preliminary inquiries or preliminary injunctions.
His vast experience includes proceedings before the High Courts of Justice and appeals before the Supreme Court against the granting or refusal of trademarks, commercial names and industrial and utility models, as well as before the Criminal Courts and the General Customs Service regarding the application of the Community Regulation (EC) 1383/2003 against products infringing intellectual rights, advising well-known Spanish and foreign companies.
Antonio joined us in 2010, and prior to that he was a senior associate in the intellectual property department of Gomez Acebo & Pombo.
Antonio has been a lecturer in intellectual property master’s degrees organised by the University Pontificia of Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid, the Magister Lucentinus organised by the University of Alicante, the Carolina Foundation together with the Madrid Bar Association and the Francisco de Vitoria University, European University of Madrid or the Center of Economic and Commercial Studies.
