About Me

I am an employment lawyer in the International HR Services Group based in Singapore and advise on the full range of employment issues in Singapore and the wider APAC region.

I enjoy providing clients with viable solutions in all cases, especially those pertaining to more challenging issues. I have an eye for identifying issues in employment agreements and employment relationships, and aim to minimise risk for clients in potentially contentious areas such as employee dismissal, protection of confidential information and trade secrets and other employer business interests, workplace safety and health and HR personal data protection.

I also provide clients with strategic advice on global mobility, immigration and transfers of employment across the region. Clients can count on me to provide tailored guidance and advice according to their needs and requirements.
Experience
  • Advised on issues surrounding the Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA) in relation to a charge against a company and employee for failing to comply with WSHA guidelines on emergency safety protocols.
  • Assisted in a dispute regarding the wrongful termination of an Employment Agreement arising out of a breach of a non-solicitation clause.
  • Advised on a Shareholders' Agreement and Employment Agreement in relation to a shareholder who would also be employed by the company as a chef in the F&B sector.
