About Me

As an associate in London's Dispute Resolution department, I have gained experience across a variety of contentious matters.

I have worked for clients based in the UK and overseas in relation to disputes across a range of sectors. I have experience dealing with matters in the domestic courts, as well as international arbitration proceedings.

As a newly qualified solicitor, I have a broad practice area covering a range of the firm's sector groups. Matters I have worked on include those in the telecommunications, life sciences, and energy & utilities sectors.

My scientific background (pharmacology) lends itself to a technical understanding of life sciences and healthcare products, and also provides me with an analytical approach to problem solving. I am particularly interested in the intersection of healthcare and artificial intelligence, and I have an awareness of the factors impacting the development of products and services in this sector. I am also involved with the firm's Media, Entertainment & Sport and Retail & Consumer groups.

During my training contract I went on secondment to an international bank, which provided me with an insight into some of the challenges faced by large organisations, and an understanding of the practical steps that can be taken to mitigate and resolve potential disputes.

Before starting my training contract at Bird & Bird I worked for another international law firm, focusing on the integration of technology and legal services. As a result I am familiar with a range of legal technology, and I have a useful understanding of the ways in which this technology can be used to streamline and reduce costs associated with dispute resolution matters.

In addition to my fee-earning work, I am a pro-bono volunteer at the South Westminster Legal Advice Centre, where I provide advice relating to a range of disputes. I am also a member of the firm's Environment Committee.
